The Binary plan is a structural plan, used by multi-level marketing (MLM) organizations, wherein new organization members are introduced into a Binary Tree structure, or a left and a right sub tree. In the Binary MLM plan, one sub tree is referred to as a Power Leg while the second sub tree is a Profit Leg. Often the stated appeal of a binary plan, is that either you are the downline or your legs grow. The Binary Plan, takes into account the recruiting efforts of those who are in your upline, your directs, in addition to your own efforts and the effort of your downline. The Binary MLM plan provides opportunity of earning income to several levels down the line irrespective of their direct joining or efforts.

The Board plan has a box type structure, but there are limitations in the levels, after which the board splits and two new boards are created. In the board, members are placed on FIFO (First in First Out) basis. After all places fill on the board, it splits into two boards and the topmost node is out from the board, if it qualifies the criteria, else it will search from top-to-bottom and left-to-right to find out the qualifier one. The Board generally consists of 1-2-4, 1-2-4-8, 1-2-4-8-16, the number of nodes at any particular level has to be even, so that when the board splits again, it splits into the same form. The biggest advantage of the Board Plan is that; it has no dependency on the network.

Matrix plan or MLM Matrix plan, is known as the "Black Sheep" of the MLM compensation plan family. This plan is popular for its unique characteristic, of limited width. In a matrix plan you can sponsor a limited number of distributors in your direct frontline. The additional new members you sponsor, are placed in the downline of your existing frontline members.
Most of the matrix income plans are quite straightforward and simple. Things present in some other MLM plans like legs and breakaways are not applicable to matrix plans. These plans are the easiest to comprehend for prospective downline persons, thus enabling easy downline management. The MLM Matrix Plans are easily manageable, as your topline will never exceed the defined number of distributors. This personalized attention in the MLM Matrix Plan leads to better progress of the organization.

The Generation plan is based on the generation structure. All directs of a single sponsor is considered as the first level of sponsor. Generation income is distributed as per the generation levels. In general practice, generation income may be distributed in terms of percentage of joining cost, or may be as per pre-defined amount per level, it may also be the percentage of repurchase BVs. Generation income is given to up line of each new member.
In the Generation Plan a member can have "n" number of directs. It expands more horizontally than vertically. Members can sponsor "n" number of directs. The flow/grow is from left-to-right and top-to-bottom. The appealing factor of this plan is that members can be paid generous level of depth.

A Differential plan, is fruitful if you are looking forward to a substantial sale of products and services. If you want to start the MLM business, based on resale of products, this will be best suited. In this type of commission, a distributor receives the difference between the amounts for which he qualifies and the amount for which his first level distributor qualifies.
This plan is based on, the purchase of BV/PV. The BV's/PV's area unit pre-defined for the several products. Once a member purchases the product, they can earn profit in the form of BV/PV. Normally re-purchase commission is calculated with product BVs/PVs. Self PVs/Own PVs - PVs are produced by re-purchase of products by the member. Down-line PVs, PVs produced by re-purchasing products by down-line members. Group PVs is a summary of self-re-purchase PVs and down-line PVs.
